Communion & Offering prayer

Communion Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with humble and grateful hearts, thanking You for Your love, Your mercy, and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
As we partake in this communion, we remember the body of Jesus, which was broken for us, and the blood He shed on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. We recognize that this was not a small sacrifice, but the greatest act of love the world has ever known.
Lord, help us never to take this moment for granted. As we eat the bread and drink the cup, remind us of the price Jesus paid so that we might have forgiveness, salvation, and the promise of eternal life.
Examine our hearts, Father. Forgive us where we have fallen short, strengthen us where we are weak, and help us to walk more faithfully in the footsteps of Christ. May this communion unite us as brothers and sisters in Christ and remind us of the hope we have in Him.
Thank You for the cross, thank You for the empty tomb, and thank You for the promise that one day we will be with You forever.
We offer this prayer in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

Offering Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with grateful hearts, thanking You for Your goodness, Your grace, and Your faithfulness to our church and our congregation. Lord, we recognize that every blessing we have comes from You, and we give You all the glory for the ways You continue to provide for us.
Father, we want to thank You especially for helping us pay off the mortgage on our church. What a wonderful blessing and a testimony of Your provision! Thank You for guiding us through this journey, for providing through the generosity of Your people, and for allowing us to reach this milestone together. May this accomplishment remind us that when we trust in You and work together in faith, You are able to do wonderful things through Your people.
Lord, as we prepare to give our offerings today, help us to give with joyful and willing hearts. Remind us that we are not simply giving money, but returning a portion of what You have graciously entrusted to us. May these offerings be used to further Your kingdom, reach those who are lost, care for those in need, strengthen our church family, and spread the good news of Jesus Christ.
Continue to bless our congregation, guide our leaders, strengthen our faith, and help us be good stewards of everything You have placed in our hands. Now that this financial burden has been lifted, may we move forward with renewed purpose, using the blessings You have given us to serve You and our community even more faithfully.
We thank You for what You have done, for what You are doing, and for what You will continue to do in the days ahead.
We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
