I used to have
a distorted image of myself,
thinking I was all wrong.
Then that all came down
when He came along.
The Lord above all,
He made anything bad fall.
I was almost always sad,
but when He came into my life,
now I can’t help
but feel glad.
He made me feel
free,
and calm,
as I really, truly do belong.
He makes everything
feel safe.
As He holds my soul,
because He showed me
I have a role.
I mean, more than I think.
Even if I don’t know,
He has always had
a plan for me.
He is all I need,
because He is
the Lord above all.
