Gracious God,
We come before You today
not because we have the right words,
but because You already know
the ones we don’t know how to say.
Before hands were ever laid on us,
You saw the weight we were carrying.
You heard the prayers we whispered,
the doubts we hid,
the hope we almost let go of,
the parts of us still unfinished.
You were never surprised by any of it.
So if there is anything in us
that doesn’t belong in the future
You’re preparing,
touch it,
even if it hurts,
even if it takes time.
Strip away what we were never meant to carry.
Teach us to trust You
when clarity feels far away.
Teach us to wait without bitterness.
Teach us to believe
You are working
even when everything feels quiet.
If today was a seed,
we trust You with the growth.
Finish what You’ve already started.
Lord, when old patterns try to pull us back,
remind us who we are now.
When fear speaks louder than faith,
let Your truth interrupt it.
And when we feel unworthy
of what You’re doing in us,
silence the lie that says
we don’t have access to Your grace.
Heal the parts of us
we learned to survive with
instead of live through.
Redeem the time
we thought was wasted.
Restore what we believed
was too broken
to ever come back together.
Give us discernment
when we need direction.
Courage
when obedience costs comfort.
Humility
when Your answers look different
than what we expected.
Walk with us on the long roads.
Remind us we are never unseen.
And don’t let us mistake stumbling
for failure.
We trust You
with who we are
and who we’re becoming,
even when we don’t fully recognize ourselves.
We place our future,
our purpose,
our healing,
and our tomorrow
into pierced hands—
hands that carried every burden
so we could be free.
We thank You for Your sacrifice, Lord.
In the name of God the Father,
the Son,
and the Holy Spirit.
